Organized as a women’s college in 1926, Bennett
College is one of only two historically Black
Colleges for women in the United States. Since its
inception, Bennett College has been responsible for
the transformation of young women into confident
global citizens, who are widely acknowledged for
their activism and commitment to community.
It is our desire that all of the inaugural events
and your participation will dramatically mark this
significant moment in the life of the College,
celebrate Dr. Malveaux and showcase Bennett College
as a thought leader among women.
